Privacy Policy

Overview

Rainy Day Golf (rainydaygc.com) is a daily golf game collection. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can reach us. We keep things minimal — no accounts yet, no selling your data.

What we collect

• Waitlist email — when you join the Club waitlist, we store your email address and where you signed up (e.g. landing page, nav, or Clubhouse).
• Confirmation status — whether you clicked the link in our confirmation email (`unconfirmed` or `confirmed`).
• Game progress — scores, streaks, and daily game state saved in your browser's local storage on your device. This does not leave your device unless you later choose to sync when accounts launch.
• Usage analytics — anonymous page views via Vercel Analytics to understand traffic. We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use it

• Send a one-time confirmation email when you join the waitlist.
• Notify you about accounts and product updates when we launch them.
• Improve the site and games (aggregate analytics only).

We do not send marketing emails until you have confirmed your waitlist spot. We do not sell or rent your email address.

Who processes your data

• Supabase — hosts the waitlist database (email, status, signup source). Data is stored in the region you chose when creating the project.
• Brevo — sends transactional confirmation emails on our behalf.
• Vercel — hosts the website and provides privacy-focused analytics.

These providers process data under their own privacy policies and only as needed to run the service.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails are kept until you ask us to remove them or we no longer need the waitlist. Local game data stays on your device until you clear site data in your browser.

Your choices

You can request access to or deletion of your waitlist entry at any time by emailing hello@rainydaygc.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

To clear local game progress, use your browser's settings to remove site data for rainydaygc.com.

Children

Rainy Day Golf is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product grows (e.g. when accounts launch). We will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
